Hi, I'm Emmet! I'm a Red Cross Certified Deep Water Lifeguard, CPR/AED trained, and a Los Angeles County Lifeguard Cadet. As a third generation Southern Californian, my grandmother, my dad, and my brothers and I all grew up on the same beaches from Venice to Malibu. Whether it's surfing, swimming, diving, or racing, the water is where I feel most at home.

I first jumped into the Junior Lifeguard program in 2019, passed the swim test without any formal training, and never looked back. Since then I've competed in Taplin relays, played two seasons of high school water polo, and represented LA County at the California Lifesaving Competition. I'm also a proud member of the U.S. Lifesaving Association and currently training with some of the best in ocean rescue, surf racing, and advanced first aid.

My goal is to make sure your parties and events stay safe and stress-free. You can count on me to bring the same focus and responsibility I bring to competition and training to every event I cover.

When I'm not on duty you might find me on a golf course or out on the ocean with Reef Raiders, a spearfishing team I co-founded. I've also taken 2nd place in my age group at the Zuma Beach Triathlon, competed in USA rock climbing Bouldering Competitions advancing to the national level, and earned scholar-athlete honors in both lacrosse and water polo.
